Issaquah Students can find common ground with Garfield through Bruce Lee

When Black, White and Asian students got together – it created a new form of martial arts.

In 1960 a cocky 19 year old asian student was playing “cowboy” quick draw with his friend LeRoy Garcia in Issaquah
shooting off cloth wads at each other to see who was faster.
The story goes LeRoy got tired of loosing all the time and quit. The asian student was Bruce Lee.
