AirDrop lets you get anything wirelessly from the iPad, Mac, or iPhone or any Apple device. It uses discovery and Bluetooth 4.x for proficient broadcast as well as the peer-to-peer for transferring quickly. The complete procedure is not at all simple, but it is secure when it works.
